Advice For Visitors

Visitors are more than welcome Monday to Friday at Moor Hall Golf Club, and availability can be checked with our Professional.  In order to enjoy the Club's facilities to a maximum the following requirements should be adhered to at all times.

Tees

  1. All golfers must start from the 1st tee, unless agreed in advance.

  2. Yellow markers are to be used.

Etiquette

The etiquette of the game is to be strictly observed. Divots should always be replaced, pitch marks on the greens repaired and bunkers raked over. A slower match should always call through a quicker one. Please avoid slow play.

Car Parking

There is a Visitor’s secure Car Park available.  Access is by code and that will be supplied prior to the day. Please DO NOT use the Hotel Car Park unless staying at the Hotel.    

Vehicles and contents are left at owner's risk.

Dress Code

Course

Normal golfing attire is expected at all times. Denim jeans and tee shirts with slogans are not allowed on the course or in the Clubhouse.
Shirts which should be collared or turtle neck must be tucked into trousers. In hot weather, shorts may be worn but must be of the tailored variety of suitable length with knee length or white ankle socks. Changing of dress in the Car Park is not permitted. The locker room is available for your convenience.

Lounge & Dining Room

Smart casual attire is expected. Denim jeans, shorts and combat style trousers are not permitted. Shirts must be tucked into trousers. Sports training shoes, golf shoes, hats and outdoor clothing are not allowed. Jacket and tie is required for gentlemen in the dining room after 4.00pm.

Valuables

Thefts are common from golf club locker rooms and car parks and Moor Hall is no exception.  Money and valuables should not be left in the locker room.  The Club is not responsible for any loss.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones including smart phones are allowed to be used both on the Course and in the Clubhouse, except for the making and receiving of phone calls, text messages or emails, and phones must be kept on silent mode at all times

Buggies

The Club has 4 buggies which can be hired subject to availability. Please contact our Professional Shop on 0121 308 5106.

Smoking

There is a non-smoking policy throughout the Club.
