The Club is set in the heart of Sutton Coldfield on the north eastern outskirts of Birmingham. This central position makes access from the motorway system very simple. Visitors are attracted from outside the Midlands and many return time and again to experience not only the attractions of the course but also to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome that awaits in the clubhouse. There are several hotels in Sutton Coldfield and within Moor Hall Park, adjacent to the Golf Club, is the separately owned 4-star Best Western Moor Hall Hotel and Spa. This is highly recommended for an overnight stay.
We are delighted to inform you that our course re-development work, commenced on 29th July 2019. The work is to improve the course by creating new bunker positioning, significantly improving our existing bunkers, and in some instances creating new run off areas close to the greens, similar to those that we witness when watching either the European Golf or PGA tournaments on TV.
We are extremely fortunate to be working with Mackenzie & Ebert, International Golf Course Architects who have advised many of the most highly ranked existing courses in the world.
We envisage the course to be completed early spring 2020 therefore, during this time we have reduced our Greens Fees accordingly.
Please note, during these works only 3 holes will be affected at any time.
